The variety of colors and shapes of ore minerals is not only an aesthetic experience, but also the past main motivation for settling in regions rich in mineral raw materials. An interactive video projection called Geoidentity puts the spotlight on the diversity of the inorganic world and, with a minimalistic gesture, draws the viewer into the microworlds of oversized pieces of ore. They are a symbol of the processes leading to the current shape of the mountain landscape and a symbol of the processes shaping the past and present socio-cultural state of the given regions.
